Unity Stamps

I’ve been playing with some new stamps from Unity and Ippity, giving them a “Spring” feel to the cards that I’m using them on. The first is a real Easter/Spring-y type of card using the colors of the season. The bunny and egg-shaped die cut is also a giveaway! The 2nd card is a “Spring is coming soon” type of card. The weather has been quite cool recently in South FL, but much more so in the rest of the US. Don’t despair, Spring IS coming!

I’m not quite sure how to describe this flower image, but I know that I like it!

It’s from the January Unity Stamps Kit of the Month and the saying is from Ippity stamps, Just Wanted to Say set. Gotta love that Sugar Rush Collection from BasicGrey for the patterned paper and color!

I have actually done a couple scrapbook pages lately! Unbelieveable I know, but hey, new years resolutions are a good thing sometimes. 🙂

Some of the pages I can’t share yet, but this one I can. It’s using some of the My Mind’s Eye stash that I have (as bad as my BasicGrey stash) and some of my Ippity stamps.

Birthday cards, stamps, Prism cardstock and Scenic Route. Ahhh yes, Scenic Route. It’s so sad to see them close their business, but I can understand doing so during such hard and uncertain times.

Stamping is such a stress reliever! I’ve spent all day doing housework/spring cleaning or whatever you want to call it. To relax to me, is to stamp! I’ve taken a couple of my recent acquisitions, put them together and met a cool sketch challenge on Card Positioning Systems (CPS). I used sketch #123.

I’ve stamped and embossed with detail embossing powder (the really fine powder meant for skinny lines, text and those really intricate images) the 3 party girls (Unity Stamps). The foundation paper is Prism cardstock. The patterned paper and chipboard “wild thing” is Scenic Route. The dot circle and saying (The Stamps of Life) are stamped with Tsukineko ink.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Here’s to you my blog followers! Thank you for your visits throughout 2009. I hope you’ll come back more in 2010, it’s going to be a great year!

I’ve been playing with the Ippity stamps more – lots of fun there!!! Take a peek and see what you think! I just love the red rubber cling – it takes ink so well. 🙂

This last one uses a Unity stamp with the Ippity one.

Have a great day!

Another great stamp set from Unity Stamps! This one came from a regular set, not a monthly one. It’s super cute and great to use as a triple inchie card! I’ll be sending this to my swap partner on the FL Stampers yahoo group this month. Are you a stamper in FL? Come on by and check us out.

Two of my favorite things went into this card, glitter and meeting challenges. For the 2nd week of the Unity Bachelor Contest, glitz was in AND CardPositioningSystems had a great versatile sketch to play with!

Talk about tough to take a picture of?! Whew! I stamped with a glue pad then sprinkled on the PK Glitz in Chocolate – isn’t that color totally yummy? I took the picture outside in the sun to hopefully catch the glitz. A piece of Sticky Tape from PK Glitz worked well for the lead into the sentiment.
