I wasn’t sure what to expect with this class – canvas covers and a hand-sewn binding – but I LOVED IT! Talk about getting in the groove sewing with waxed linen thread, ohhhhh baby! The canvas covers were a blast to make using paint dabbers and some collaging with wax. I really liked this color combo of Cool Peri and Citrus. I can’t wait to add some Ideology goodies to the front for more embellishing!
The second class with Tim Holtz was a very different class for me and another FAVORITE! Working with dominoes, mica, alcohol inks, stamps, charms and ephemera, we created 3 different pins/necklaces PLUS a mini frame. See what I mean below!

Generation Grunge was one of my favorite classes from the Tim Holtz weekend at Scrapbook Central on the last day of May, 2008. We covered many techniques to use with grungeboard, one of the coolest products out there! I think practically every layout that I do from now on will have grungeboard on it someplace, you’ll see as I post after the Tim Holtz projects in later entries. NOTE: All stamps are from Stamper’s Anonymous and are currently available. The butterfly is cut from a new Cuttlebug die coming out at Summer CHA in July 2008 – gotta LOVE getting product before it’s even announced!
We’re in the middle of our Tim Holtz Designer On the Road Contest Trip at Scrapbook Central and I’ll I can say is WOWOWOWOOWWOW!!! I’ll post samples soon from the 6, yes count them SIX, classes that I took from Tim!
