Scraps of thoughts, photos and art

The Stamps of Life

A co-worker had a baby recently – perfect excuse to make a baby card! I used a couple stamps from different The Stamps of Life kits to make the card. I just love how Stephanie at TSOL makes it so easy to make a card for any occasion!

Simple stamping and some die cutting using my favorite tool, Big Shot Express. Press that button and away you go cutting shapes like there’s no tomorrow! It makes me happy. 🙂

You’ll see some great eye candy using P K Glitz products. All of the projects will have a Spring, bunny or flower theme just in time for the warmer weather!

Another reason to hop to each blog is to find blog candy! What would a fun activity like this be without some great giveaways? You’ll never know who will be giving away a little or big gift…just hop along and you’ll know when you find it! Comment on that specific blog’s post to enter for that giveaway. And, you never know what you may win by just commenting on a blog post somewhere along the hop!

To say thanks for joining us in our first Blog Hop, Janelle has offered a P K Glitz Easter Basket with $50 worth of merchandise to a lucky reader who returns to the P K Glitz Blog Hop post at the end of hopping to comment on what your favorite thing was about the hop!

The deadline for entering all blog candy giveaways is midnight Central time Sunday night, April 4th. We’ll announce the winners on Talk Tuesday for all prizes!

How’s that for FUN??!!

You can shop at any time by visiting the P K Glitz store. Take a peek at our newest shimmery glitters like the beautiful pearl colors that I used in my project and fabulous chunky embossing powder!

This is your last stop on the Bunny {Blog} Hop, so go on back to the main P K Glitz Blog to leave a comment to get into the drawing!

Have a fun a wonderful Spring-y weekend!

A little early – a love note for my honey!

Ok, I also met a challenge on the Crazy 4 Challenges Blog using The Stamps of Life stamps! Why not hit 2 birds with one stone?? 🙂

The challenge was to create a Valentine themed card. Not too hard, especially when you have some great stamps to work with! Thanks Stephanie at TSOL!

Birthday cards, stamps, Prism cardstock and Scenic Route. Ahhh yes, Scenic Route. It’s so sad to see them close their business, but I can understand doing so during such hard and uncertain times.

Stamping is such a stress reliever! I’ve spent all day doing housework/spring cleaning or whatever you want to call it. To relax to me, is to stamp! I’ve taken a couple of my recent acquisitions, put them together and met a cool sketch challenge on Card Positioning Systems (CPS). I used sketch #123.

I’ve stamped and embossed with detail embossing powder (the really fine powder meant for skinny lines, text and those really intricate images) the 3 party girls (Unity Stamps). The foundation paper is Prism cardstock. The patterned paper and chipboard “wild thing” is Scenic Route. The dot circle and saying (The Stamps of Life) are stamped with Tsukineko ink.

Thanks for stopping by today!
