Stamp Something

Yes! Let’s celebrate and have some fun!

I was FINALLY using some of my numerous Unity Stamps for a Virtual Stamp Night Challenge on Splitcoaststampers yesterday and came up with this card. The challenge was to “hide” something on the card, so I hid the kite behind the cloud. I love layering on cards and this was so easy!

I met a bunch of other challenges with this card too, so check the supply list for the challenge blog links there.

Paper that is?

Some Odd Girl digi stamps had a fun challenge this week –> put something pleated on a project.

When I taught some of the BasicGrey card classes, some of the cards had some interesting paper pleats on them. Doing the pleats was not a favorite in the class as some of my students would heartily agree, but the effect was pretty cool.

I created one of those pleat designs for the challenge this week, hope you like it! Click either design to see a larger view.

giveaways

throughout the hop!!!

The theme of our hop is Halloween, but since not all of our participants and hoppers may not celebrate Halloween, please share with us some of your traditions around this time of year. Won’t that be fun!!

Along with sharing your tradition for this season, you must leave a comment at each of the blogs along the way and you must say “TRICK OR TREAT” in your comment as well! You never know where one of the giveaways will be, so make sure you follow the directions! 🙂

What are the giveaways? Why they are Spooky Sally, The Haunted Tree and Trick or Treat which can all be seen at Michelle’s Etsy Shop!!

I have some really great candle holders for the Halloween season that I love putting out! My Mom was the big Halloween decorator – big figurines on the lawn, blinking lights and even spooky music playing outside at night!! It was always SO fun!

Here are a couple projects that I did for your viewing pleasure along the hop. I colored The Haunted Tree by printing it on acetate then filled in different parts of the tree on the back with Crystal Lacquer, then sprinkled on the glitter to stick to the lacquer. Cool eh?
