Here’s a card that can be used for a couple different occasions. With the church, it could be for a wedding, Christening, engagement, First Communion or Confirmation. I’m sure there are more that I haven’t listed here, but you get the gist.
This card uses a lot of scraps that I had around from the SEI Collection, Jolie Chocolat which was wildly popular for it’s pink and brown tones. The added glitter and foil accents in the patterns made the paper that much more appealing.

Last year was a great year for lots of ice in Western Massachusetts according to my Aunt. She loved sending pictures from outside her window and around her house. This was one such incident that caused a major crippling for moving around the town and for going to work. I think she even lost power for a short time with the ice build-up on the power lines.
If there was a question on why I moved to Florida, take a gander at the pictures and put it together.
Supplies:
Stitched Page Kit (won at Scrapbook Expo last year)
Sizzlet dies
Fun foam for the letters
Border punch

Using digital stamps is quite easy to use for scrapbook pages as well as cards. For the layout below, I printed the images on white paper and colored them with Copic markers. I then trimmed them out so that they were more of an embellishment for the page rather than a main focus. If you’ve ever heard of a “hybrid” project, this can be considered one as it combines both traditional scrapbooking with digital elements.
Today’s project also works for The Stamping Boutique’s Digi Day challenge on Scrapbook News & Review! The super cute Bride Audrey digital stamp coupled with AJ Wedding meets the “Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed, Something Blue” challenge. The “old” item is the paper that I’ve had for years, the “new” item is the sheer butterfly embellishment, the “borrowed” item was the Sizzix alpha to cut the letters with, and the “blue” items are the sheer flowers.

DB took a trip a couple years ago to attend his high school reunion. While there, he was able to drive around his old stomping grounds on the coast of Maine with his Mom and Sister. He got some beautiful shots of the scenery around Acadia National Park. Enjoy!

I was able to visit the back woods of Kentucky a couple of years ago when I was working with P K Glitz. Janelle and Jim, co-owners, have a beautiful old B&B right by the rail tracks. It was a really fun visit with a great chance to feel cool weather and see the leaves change.
This layout is for Shimelle’s 4×6 Photo class at 2Peas. I was SO excited to use some super old supplies that were just too good to throw out! It felt great to use up some stash!
