There’s just something about a beautiful sunrise to start the day isn’t there? I was on my way out of town on an early flight and saw this beautiful sunrise from the airport. Just breathtaking!

I love making cards!
It’s Virtual Stamp Night this weekend on Splitcoast Stampers, so I thought that I would indulge myself in some stamping just for the fun of it.
So, VSN has various challenges under this month’s theme of You Make My Heart Sing. The hostesses are extremely creative with their challenges all relating back to the main theme. Great job ladies!
Here is another card with many more to come:
Starving Artistamps DoodleFactory rubber stamps
P K Glitz embossing powder
SEI patterned paper
Yes, it’s 2011! I hope it’s going well for you so far!
I have a card to share using a digital stamp colored with Copic markers. The digital stamp is from Michelle Perkett Studio and meets this week’s “Anything Goes” challenge.
Have a look:

Could it be?
YES! I scrapbooked! It seems like a long time since doing a 12×12 scrapbook page. I’m behind on my Project 12 summary pages, bummer! But I have the pictures printed out and picking papers is the next step.
I saw this sketch challenge from the Paper Niche and really wanted to join in. At first I was going to incorporate the Play Date Cafe‘s challenge of using black, white and either pink, copper or gold, but the brown, white and pink tones won out over the black. I’ve only had these SEI papers for um, maybe 3 years?? Definitely time to use them up! Well, I only used a small amount of them for this project but it’s a start right?
This photo is one of the most “formal” that we’ve had taken together. It happened to be at work’s Holiday Party at the Design Center of the Americas (DCOTA) in Ft. Lauderdale. It was truly incredible to see all the designer showcases behind the glass, solid marble tubs, tons of crystal and shoes??? Not sure if those were meant to be worn or to be used as decoration, so I snapped a picture anyway!
The party theme was the “Roaring 20’s” – enter bunches of feathers, tommy guns and fedoras. The Center was decorated in elegant black and white with jazz streaming from the speakers. Not bad and a really fun night out.

Beauty and elegance is what the Windsor Collection is all about. Tones of brown neutrals, sage green and mustard yellow all present themselves in the small repeating patterns. Gold foil accents add a beautiful elegant touch in a subtle way. Flocking on some of the patterns add a great dimensional element. The embellishments, buttons, die cuts, ribbon and more are perfectly matched. This collection is ideal for scrapping grand occasions like weddings and anniversaries, but also works for everyday photos. Take a look at the layouts below for a glimpse into Windsor…
