I have actually done a couple scrapbook pages lately! Unbelieveable I know, but hey, new years resolutions are a good thing sometimes.
Some of the pages I can’t share yet, but this one I can. It’s using some of the My Mind’s Eye stash that I have (as bad as my BasicGrey stash) and some of my Ippity stamps.
Supplies:
My Mind’s Eye patterned paper and sketch
Ippity and Unity rubber stamps
P K Glitz E P Max embossing powder and Ritzy Ditzy Glitz
Tsukineko and Ranger inks
Cosmo Cricket chipboard
I was lucky on 2 occasions recently – one was to go to Kentucky for a long weekend before all the leaves dropped and two, was able to work with the 3 Bugs Autumn line!
Kentucky was beautiful and a little cooler than I was expecting
. The colors of autumn really made up for it though. I just love the oranges, browns and yellows of the season. Not enough to move into a part of the country that has that though!
The Autumn line is really fun! It has all the great colors you expect for Fall plus patterns that match. I love that on many of the papers, the back is solid colored. Also, I like being able to distress it myself if I want. The addition of a cool grayish blue was a nice touch.
Supplies:
3 Bugs in a Rug Autumn patterned paper
Core’dinations cardstock
Petaloo Flora Doodle flowers
BasicGrey chipboard letters
Tsukineko ink
Buttons and Tim Holtz Mini Stapler
Supplies:
3 Bugs in a Rug Autumn patterned paper
Core’dinations cardstock
Fiskars border punch
Petaloo Flora Doodles
Buttons, foam letters die cut using Bounce font from Sizzix and thread
Besides BasicGrey, one of my favorite scrapbooking companies is My Mind’s Eye. Weathered looking paper, hip embellishments and terrific color combinations bring a whole new emphasis to a themed package. One of MME’s newest line called “Breaking Free”, has a bunch of mini collections all in-line with the main theme. The mini collection that I worked with this month at Cherry Blossom Studio was entitled Cowabunga “oh so very cool”. How fun is that?? Full of great orange and teal tones, this paper brings you right to the beach with the surf lapping at your toes! Grab your surfboard, we’re leaving!

Materials:
MME Breaking Free paper, rub-ons & die cuts
American Crafts Thickers
Dew Drops
Buttons
Twill
Hemp
ScrapFriends had a neat NSD crop with some fun challenges. I was able to participate in just one due to my crazy schedule lately, but I had as much fun as possible! It was worth it! Using Coredinations cardstock and stamps (Starving Artistamps & Stampin’ Up!) plus PK Glitz embossing powder and glitz, this recipe page came together perfectly for the challenge. No printed paper needed, all of it was stamped for the page!

I got a chance to use the new By the Bay Collection from Quick Quotes for my DT kit at Scrapbook Central in February. It’s a beautiful collection of double-sided papers in blues and orange tones with a water theme. There is a die cut sheet that accompanies the paper. Great for summer, vacation or beach themed pictures, this collection really offers a lot!
