Sorry about that! Life happens and then we move on.
Tim Holtz has started a year long monthly tag inspiration and has retired his 12 days of December tag ideas. I think it’s a good thing and I’m looking forward to it. He’ll catch up in March for January, so February’s came out first. What a great tag full of inspiration!
Here are 3 different versions created by me, Cindy and Barb in one night. Can you believe it…just one night! We were pretty impressed with ourselves since we were very pleased with the way they came out.
We used a bunch of different things – Tim Holtz dies, Really Reasonable Ribbon, Distress Inks, Glimmer Mist, and other cool things. Can’t wait for March’s tags! Thanks Tim!
I’ve had a great first week with Shimelle and her class, Love Your Pictures, Love Your Pages. She’s right!! It’s working!
Here’s one of the first assignments from last week. My recent favorites: Ippity Stamps (of course), P K Glitz embossing powder and ribbon, any kind!
I’m working on the next page…
Tinkering Ink patterned paper
May Arts ribbon
Making Memories thread
Fiskars texture plate

I thought the House Mouse stamps were super cute, but these Mouserkins are absolutely adorable! I had a great chance to do some more coloring with the Copics. I’m doing more blending than ever before. In doing that, I definitely have some holes in my Copic collection. Funny how it doesn’t appear until you really start using them! I use the Warm and Cool Grays often – for shadowing and outlining. It gives the image such a great look! Well then you have the colors too – wowser! I love the light colors because they can brighten up a darker tone in two shakes. I can’t wait to get more…
Take a look at the newest cards using the Mouserkins from Faerie Song Art Stamps:
So, Stephanie at The Stamps of Life is giving everyone a motivation to use her stamps – a contest! Nothing like the chance to win something free to inspire one’s creativity!
Ok, well that’s not the only thing to inspire. How about a great sketch from Mojo Monday? Yes indeed, coupling those 2 with Prism Paper, what a great combo! The result is below. A cute Christmas card that’s quick and easy with some simple cuts and punches. Imagine the scraps you could use up!?…
