P K Glitz
I just loved this digistamp from Some Odd Girl! So cute and wonderful to color! The punched border uses a Martha Stewart punch, the glitter and tape is from P K Glitz, the ribbon is from Michael’s and the image is colored using Copics.
This card meets the Stamptacular Sunday Challenge for Fairy Fever!
I’ve been able to add to my Christmas card stash by completing these 8 cards today. I used a mass production card technique from the Online Card Class Holiday Card Workshop using many different background and sayings stamps. The snowflakes are from sticky paper and Spellbinders dies. They came out great using the P K Glitz glitter! The sayings are all heat embossed using P K Glitz embossing powder. More cards to come!
It’s the weekend and I’m getting in some card making time! I’m trying to finish up on the Hope You Can Cling To challenges at Splitcoaststampers and get the cards mailed off. That’s my goal by Monday anyway!! Here’s to working on it and gettin’ it done!
The stamps are all from The Stamps of Life Turtle2love set. The glitter embossing powder is from P K Glitz. The sketch is from Clean and Simple Stamping FTL215. The color combo is from Color Throwdown CTD216. This card also meets the masculine challenge at CAS-ual Fridays CFC77.
Thanks for stopping by!
Here’s a simple one that I had to put together with the September The Stamps of Life set, trees4Christmas – LOVE IT! I will be making a lot of cards with this versatile set. I just happened to have matching embossing powders to match the BasicGrey patterned paper – imagine that?! One of my desires is to really dive into my massive glitter and embossing powder collection to use IT UP! I will only repurchase the ones that I really really like and only from the manufacturers I like. Anyway, here’s a step towards that 🙂
Let’s get back into sharing some projects that I’ve been working on. Granted these are relatively quick and easy as compared to scrapbook pages, but I’m still using my supplies and creating. It feels good.
I’ll share some ATC’s (Artist Trading Cards) and cards that I’ve done recently. I had a lot of fun making them, mostly because I’m using stamps from my vast collection. I can’t even tell you how many I have because I don’t know!
I’ll also share some class samples from a Copic coloring online class that I’m taking from Melissa & Kristy at Created from Color. Even though I’m Copic Certified, I’m sure that I’ll learn and practice more techniques on coloring skin, hair and using a light source. Kristy owns Some Odd Girl stamp company (digis and clear) and I just love her images and coloring samples.
My share today is a card using a sketch from CPS (Card Positioning Systems) and color combo from Color Throwdown. Take a look:

It’s almost 1/2 way through the year and here’s my first Christmas card! Usually I try to make a couple holiday cards every month, but I haven’t been able to do that this year. I’ll just have to do a marathon session in July or whenever I can get some time to crank out some cards. I love making holiday cards, so it shouldn’t be difficult!
