Here’s a fun project that I did for P K Glitz. It actually uses the cling mount rubber stamps from Ippity along with a flower pot, silk flowers, glitter and embossing powder.

I really enjoyed using the Ippity stamps. Since they’re unmounted they are easy to stamp on non-flat surfaces. For instance, if I wanted to stamp on the side of the flower pot instead of putting glitter on it, I could stamp directly on the terra cotta for a great image on the side. Most likely you would need a pigment or solvent ink like StazOn or just heat emboss your stamped image for staying power. Fun stuff! (click for a larger pic)

I’ve been busy with the Ippity and Unity stamps these days. Cards, scrapbook pages, altered stuff, you name it! It’s all FUN because I’m stamping!

Ippity and Unity make it easy to stamp. Just place the red rubber stamp onto an acrylic block, ink it up and away you go! You’re a stamper now! It’s fun to watch people stamp for the first time. They’re so tentative and gentile. Rubber is so rugged that it’s doubtful they could hurt a red rubber stamp! With the exception of chemicals or sharp objects, rubber stamps are very good about holding their own!

I really loved the Nook & Pantry line when BasicGrey introduced it. It has a lot of nostalgic feel to it and of course, classic kitchen icons. I was lucky enough to get my hands on one of the clear stamp sets that came from that collection. It has a great teapot and cup in it shown in the card below. Isn’t that just perfect classic kitchen?? I used some of the beautiful Chocolate colored embossing powder from P K Glitz on the images and strip across the top of the card.

I’ve been working with this neat software from Poppy Hill Designs called Dazzling Reflections. You may have noticed the badge on the side bar – they are a P K Glitz Preferred Partner.

The software is straightforward from the start. Start the software, bring in a photo, choose a template then printing size! The tutorials on the web site and in the software itself are very good. The owner Wendy is a whiz at it! You should see the projects she makes!

The card below was made using one of the square templates that comes with the standard software. There are additional themed template sets that you can purchase. I printed the kaleidoscope at just under 5×5, trimmed around the outside then the middle to make the photo frame. I then stamped and embossed the center saying. A nice Easter card using a picture I took!
