I must admit that tea is one of my favorite drinks, either hot or cold. There seems to be a surge of stamps and dies out there recently to which I have started to accumulate. This digi stamp is from priscillstyles digi store and is for the progressive challenge at the Crafter’s Digital Art Center, cdacpc23.
I used various embossing folders and Spellbinders dies for this card. The sketch is from this week’s Verve Stamps’s Mojo Monday #266 challenge. The color combo is from Play Date Cafe’s #157, plum, fuschia and wisteria.
Thanks for stopping by today!
Isn’t she so carefree just skating away? I LOVED rollerskating as a kid AND as an adult. What fun we had!! My sister was roller queen, but I wasn’t half bad 🙂
For Copic colors, I used E000, E00, E11 for the skin; E29, E39, E49 for the hair; YR15, YR16, YR18 for her sweater & scarf; R35, R37, R39 for her vest, socks and wheels; G20, G21, G24 for her pants and G0000, G000 for the skate highlights.
Have a great Saturday!
When this digi stamp came out at Some Odd Girl, I just had to have her! She is SO stinkin’ cute!
Yesterday was Facebook Fun Day with Some Odd Girl and a challenge was given to print an image on fabric and color with Copics. I was able to find my Sticky Back Canvas, so into the laser printed it went with Bookish Tia on it! It was a little challenging to have a light touch with the coloring since the canvas sucked up the ink if you left it too long in one spot or tried to blend too much. I really like the effect!! Here’s my card:

There’s this new blogging event thing that Shimelle is starting called “10 things”. It looks like fun and I couldn’t resist joining in!
On the 10th of the month you’ll find a list here from me about some 10 things. 🙂
To start it off, I’ll make a list using one of the latest cards that I made that I really am happy with! It’s a new Ippity Stamps set called New Season, New Wonder. A super cute and versatile 6 image set that is all fruity! Take a peek:

- that cute mini gingham bow is so cute!
- gotta love those Mojo Monday sketches!
- gotta love My Mind’s Eye patterned paper!
- Spellbinders dies are indispensable
- I used paper scraps, woohoo!
- it’s easy to duplicate
- because it is just plain SWEET!!
I just had to have this gnome collection from Whimsie Doodles. These little guys are so cute and fun to color! I loved incorporating this week’s white, black and hint of green from the Play Date Cafe’s Challenge in the card too. Check it out!
