Come one come all to the My Stamp Box Blog Hop! I’ll have a P K Glitz project in it, woohoo!
This Robot stamp set is really growing on me! It is super cute and I happened to get some robot paper that inspired me to create my own background paper using the various robot stamps. Adding a little glitter to his big heart was a nice touch.
Supplies:
P K Glitz, Aquamarine & Clear Embossing Powder and Glitter Glitz
My Stamp Box, Programmed Robots
Tsukineko Cloud White & London Fog Ink
My Mind’s Eye patterned paper
Copic markers
Card Positioning Systems sketch #162
Every month P K Glitz offers a couple great sketches to get your creative juices flowing. The lucky Club Glitz members get to see them on the 5th of the month when the new month’s Club is revealed. Everyone else sees them on the 15th when they’re posted on the P K Glitz blog.
This month’s card sketch used a long and skinny card format, one that I really like and have fun with! I had some fun with the Ginko Leaf Silhouette Stencil on Sticky Paper. I traced the stencil and cut out the Sticky Paper in the shape of the leaf then added Newsprint Glitter Glitz – what a great color combo! The saying was heat embossed using P K Glitz embossing powder. I love the way the powder shines after it’s heated!

I’ve been working with this neat software from Poppy Hill Designs called Dazzling Reflections. You may have noticed the badge on the side bar – they are a P K Glitz Preferred Partner.
The software is straightforward from the start. Start the software, bring in a photo, choose a template then printing size! The tutorials on the web site and in the software itself are very good. The owner Wendy is a whiz at it! You should see the projects she makes!
The card below was made using one of the square templates that comes with the standard software. There are additional themed template sets that you can purchase. I printed the kaleidoscope at just under 5×5, trimmed around the outside then the middle to make the photo frame. I then stamped and embossed the center saying. A nice Easter card using a picture I took!
