Ippity

So, some of you may know that I am an Ippity Chick. A Chick is someone who is basically a distributor for Ippity Stamps, part of Unity Stamps. I buy Ippity from Unity and sell it to you, the end customer. I’ve been pretty successful selling Ippity everywhere in the world, even Australia and Europe! I’ve enjoyed it and like the product.

Ippity will be rolled up into the Unity brand soon.

There will be no more Ippity. No new releases and to my understanding, no real distinction between Ippity and Unity any longer. This is not a sad thing necessarily as many people don’t even know they are different. For those who do and who have been my customers over the years, a big THANK YOU! 🙂

For me, there is some sadness to see it go. I always try to promote Ippity so that I can enable my crafting habits with the extra money that I make from the sales. However, I have to say that it will be nice to use some of my other stamps too! Ippity was always foremost in my mind – must promote by doing samples – so my other stamps have been neglected. I like my other stamps! I look forward to using them more often soon.

So, if you would like to visit my Ippity blog before it goes away, please do! I will be liquidating my entire stock, so let me know if you want a nice discount on some premium red rubber cling mounted stamps. I’ll be doing some updating most likely to the Ippity site in terms of price reductions, but shop now for the best selection. I have EVERY set for sale. Send me an email (andrea at ippitystamps dot com) and tell me what you want and I’ll make you a killer deal. Spread the word!

Then here’s a card for you!

It’s using a digital stamp from Michelle Perkett Studio and colored with Copics just to keep the chill on!

There’s a DT call on at MPS, so click on the side bar button to get the full details. Come join the fun!

Hmmmmm, hot chocolate on a cool day…how yummy!

I made this card for Whimsie Doodles challenge 56, Scratch n’ Sniff. This cute little Snowman Cocoa fit right in to this week’s theme and into a card that I needed for a color swap!

The card’s  “scent” came from adding cinnamon to some chocolate brown embossing powder so that it smelled divine when it was heated to melt! YUMMO! I used an embossing pen to trace the steam coming out of the cup and for the stripes on the mug.

The rest of the color came from the color combo needed for this month’s card at Florida Stampers. AND the sketch from Mojo Monday!

Can you tell from this card that I’ve been practicing using Copic markers? 😀

I had the opportunity to learn last weekend from a fresh student of the Copic Certification Class in Sarasota who was super generous with her time (thanks Fran!). She had such great tips and really filled in some of the questions that I had from the blog and just practicing myself.

I’m addicted to Copic markers.

Sigh, there are worse things than stamps, paper and Copics right? Please shake your head, “yes Andrea”…
