I’ve been playing with some of the new Ippity Stamps sets – what fun!! They range in variety and style, just the way I like it. 🙂
Thanks for looking today!
I worked on a couple cards for Ippity this week. One is a spring-y one and a couple similar design Christmas cards. Yes, I said Christmas. 🙂 I participate in a monthly Holiday card swap on Florida Stampers Yahoo group which helps build my Holiday card stash throughout the whole year so that when that time comes, I’m not in a panic for cards. I LOVE it! It helps me use many different Holiday stamps throughout the year too!

I really enjoyed using the Ippity stamps. Since they’re unmounted they are easy to stamp on non-flat surfaces. For instance, if I wanted to stamp on the side of the flower pot instead of putting glitter on it, I could stamp directly on the terra cotta for a great image on the side. Most likely you would need a pigment or solvent ink like StazOn or just heat emboss your stamped image for staying power. Fun stuff! (click for a larger pic)

I’ve been busy with the Ippity and Unity stamps these days. Cards, scrapbook pages, altered stuff, you name it! It’s all FUN because I’m stamping!
Ippity and Unity make it easy to stamp. Just place the red rubber stamp onto an acrylic block, ink it up and away you go! You’re a stamper now! It’s fun to watch people stamp for the first time. They’re so tentative and gentile. Rubber is so rugged that it’s doubtful they could hurt a red rubber stamp! With the exception of chemicals or sharp objects, rubber stamps are very good about holding their own!
I’ve been playing with some new stamps from Unity and Ippity, giving them a “Spring” feel to the cards that I’m using them on. The first is a real Easter/Spring-y type of card using the colors of the season. The bunny and egg-shaped die cut is also a giveaway! The 2nd card is a “Spring is coming soon” type of card. The weather has been quite cool recently in South FL, but much more so in the rest of the US. Don’t despair, Spring IS coming!
Ok, so I really liked that Mojo Monday sketch #126 shown in my last post. So much that I made another similar card using all Ippity and Unity stamps. Check it out!
