I love making cards!

It’s Virtual Stamp Night this weekend on Splitcoast Stampers, so I thought that I would indulge myself in some stamping just for the fun of it.

So, VSN has various challenges under this month’s theme of You Make My Heart Sing. The hostesses are extremely creative with their challenges all relating back to the main theme. Great job ladies!

Here is another card with more to come.

I love making cards!

It’s Virtual Stamp Night this weekend on Splitcoast Stampers, so I thought that I would indulge myself in some stamping just for the fun of it. In the past, much of my stamping has been for a specific Design Team purpose, but since resigning from many of the different teams, my creative schedule has been lighter than in the past. I’m having a lot of fun just stamping for the heck of it. :)

So, VSN has various challenges under this month’s theme of You Make My Heart Sing. The hostesses are extremely creative with their challenges all relating back to the main theme. Great job ladies!

A couple days ago I posted a cute altered mini mailbox to hold ATCs (Artist Trading Cards). Well, here are some of the cards that go in them! I trade with some local ladies every couple of months. It’s SO fun!

We haven’t met as a Club for 2-3 months, so we had a little catching up to do. November’s theme was “Wonders of the World”, December was “Freestyle” and January was “Planes, Trains & Automobiles”.

For the November theme, I chose the Pyramids since I found a PERFECT stamp in my stash! The Pyramids are from My Paper Moon and the depth background is from Lost Coast Designs. The small frame on the very outer edges is from Starving Artistamps. Lots of layers in this ATC!

ATC

Supplies:

My Paper Moon Pyramids rubber stamp

Lost Coast Designs Perspective background rubber stamp

Starving Artistamps Trim rubber stamp

Purple Onion Designs alphabet rubber stamps

Ranger ink

P K Glitz embossing powders

The “freestyle” ATCs were actually all different with the theme of Under the Sea. I used twinchies that I had swapped with the ladies on Rubber Stamp Chat and added a cool Distress Ink background to make it more interesting.

ATC

Supplies:

Starving Artistamp seaweed stamps in the background

Twinchies from RSC

The last ATC to share today is the “Planes, Trains and Automobiles” one. I used Stampers Anonymous stamps and layered them once again. It came out pretty cool.

ATC

Supplies:

Stampers Anonymous rubber stamps

Ranger embossing ink and embossing powder

Tsukineko ink

Have you ever made  your own stamped background paper?

Well, that’s this week’s challenge on the Michelle Perkett Studio Challenge blog. It’s challenge #56, make your own background paper with a Michelle Perkett Studio stamp!

For my sample, I used some of Michelle’s rubber stamps that I love. I stamped the snowflakes over and over than heat embossed them for a subtle look. That’s all it takes to make your own background paper!

Michelle Perkett Studio

Supplies:

Michelle Perkett Studio rubber stamps available at Faerie Song Art Stamps

Ranger ink

P K Glitz embossing powder

Cording and snowflake punch
