It’s that time of year again! Yes, candy corn (LOVE it), orange & green and spooky stuff. 🙂
Hence comes the card pictured below. Using stamps from Starving Artistamps, PKGlitz embossing powder and awesome Core’dinations cardstock, this spooky card was born! I love the cardstock from Core’dinations because of the contrasting core color, not white, not colored like the base cardstock color, but contrasting! Neat stuff and oh so fun to work with on any project.
Starving Artistamps stamps
PK Glitz embossing powder
Copic markers for coloring
Martha Stewart Crooked Fence punch
Stampin’ Up! Tag punch
Sizzix Graffiti Alpha
Various ribbon and pom poms (on the spider bodies)
It’s a weird thing – how I LOVE Halloween stamps and papers, but don’t really do anything on the day itself! My mom was a big lover of decorating for the holidays, Halloween was one she especially had fun with. She even dressed up one time as Dr. Doom (or some other equal meaning name) with a grim reaper type costume on and white make-up on her face! What a site since she worked at the City Hall at the time! She sure knew how to surprise people!
I had the opportunity to work with Reminisce’s new Scare Tactics line, available at Scrapbook Central. I used some pictures of the owner’s daughter, Lexi, the disco cowgirl! She is super cute and plays the guitar as evidenced in the photos!
A little trick – the cobweb corners are actually 1 cobweb cut into 4 parts. It is a rub-on available with this collection, so utilize it well! The fuzzy spiders are from Little Yellow Bicycle’s Halloween line.
And a card using the same collection.
