The Poinsettia Fairy was a recent spotlight special at Michelle’s store – so pretty with her winter dress and poinsettias everywhere!
I chose a bit of an nontraditional color scheme for her, but it still works I think! She looks so warm in her fur lined outfit!
You can still send out holiday or winter cards in time by purchasing digital stamps with nearly instant delivery! Definitely shorter than by mail or pick-up since you receive the images electronically! It’s such a great delivery method!
Take a peek and stay warm!! Remember you can click on the picture for a larger view.

Have you ever made your own stamped background paper?
Well, that’s this week’s challenge on the Michelle Perkett Studio Challenge blog. It’s challenge #56, make your own background paper with a Michelle Perkett Studio stamp!
For my sample, I used some of Michelle’s rubber stamps that I love. I stamped the snowflakes over and over than heat embossed them for a subtle look. That’s all it takes to make your own background paper!
Supplies:
Michelle Perkett Studio rubber stamps available at Faerie Song Art Stamps
Ranger ink
P K Glitz embossing powder
Cording and snowflake punch

Don’t you just love cupcakes? They are just enough to clench that desire for cake but not too much to feel like you’ve over indulged. Flavors? TONS! Both in the cake portion and frosting portion! Cupcakes are BIG business!
I’ve got a paper pieced cupcake for you today using The Stamps of Life set HappyBday2You. The cupcake is a great size and the sentiment is able to be split up so that you can stack it instead of having it in a single line. I swear that Stephanie at TSOL puts a lot of thought into these sets!! I LOVE IT!

Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps has a great collection of Floral images showing beautiful brush strokes of delicate detail.
For the card shown below, I’ve used selective coloring to match the colors in the paper. The bright pink and chocolate tones really made the detail pop in this image. Using a die cut floral border coated with P K Glitz glitter really adds a nice touch.
Supplies:
Ranger ink
P K Glitz glitter, chocolate
