embossing powder

How can you go wrong by adding glitter to a page, especially a holiday themed one?

Taking the BasicGrey Challenge this week, I added P K Glitz‘ Glitter Glitz (crystal, NST copper and china red) and E P Lite (copper penny) to my 6×6 recipe page. Can you see it? Sticky Tape and a glue pen worked great for the bottom section and chipboard ornament. The brads were covered with E P Lite for further glitz enhancement. I love my glitz!

On the PK Glitz blog today! Nice job Tammy!

Tammy shows how to change the color of a brad very quickly to match your project!

This week’s Unity Bachelor Challenge was to incorporate something from around the house. I used a terra cotta flower pot and bamboo skewers for my “love pot”. I used PK Glitz’ E P Lite embossing powder which is WAY cool!! I love how it sparkles, especially in the sun!

For the project, I painted the pot and saucer then stamped on the paint. The flowers, sun and butterflies are all embossed and trimmed out. The flowers have a large eyelet and glazed brad through it to hold onto the skewer. The sun and butterflies are held onto the skewers with foam squares (high tech eh?). There’s a styrofoam ball inside the pot, covered with felt and crinkley paper strips. It was a fun project! Thanks for the challenge Unity!
