Here’s a nice and bright summery card to meet the Seasonal Fun challenge at CDAC! The digi is from Pattie’s Creations and is colored with Copic markers: C1, C2, C4, Y04, Y08, RV04, RV06 and RV09. The background stamp and sentiment is from Stampin’ Up! and inked with Momento inks. This card also meets the Clean and Simple blog sketch challenge FTL246. Thanks for stopping by!
Here’s a simple card for the CDAC Inspiration Challenge. I used a Lila Grey Digi Stamp colored with Copics: RV02, RV04, E17, G03 and G09. The birdhouse was colored using a water pen and dye inks for a more weathered board effect like the inspiration photo. The sentiment is from Stampin’ Up! The sketch is from Case This Sketch #33.
I’ve just started using Saturated Canary‘s digi stamps, so here’s my first one! She’s called Harvest Princess. She’s using the Verve Stamps sketch VLVJan2013 week1 and it meets this week’s Saturated Canary’s movie theme inspiration challenge. I thought of The Last of the Mohicans when I saw this, so that movie was my inspiration.
Using digital stamps is quite easy to use for scrapbook pages as well as cards. For the layout below, I printed the images on white paper and colored them with Copic markers. I then trimmed them out so that they were more of an embellishment for the page rather than a main focus. If you’ve ever heard of a “hybrid” project, this can be considered one as it combines both traditional scrapbooking with digital elements.
Today’s project also works for The Stamping Boutique’s Digi Day challenge on Scrapbook News & Review! The super cute Bride Audrey digital stamp coupled with AJ Wedding meets the “Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed, Something Blue” challenge. The “old” item is the paper that I’ve had for years, the “new” item is the sheer butterfly embellishment, the “borrowed” item was the Sizzix alpha to cut the letters with, and the “blue” items are the sheer flowers.

Let’s get in the mood to celebrate Easter! You’ll be seeing a lot of great Easter and Spring themed projects today!
What would a Blog Hop be without fun and prizes?
We have a little surprise for everyone who participates in our hop this weekend! Michelle has created the Easter digi set that has not been released yet (seen above) that 4 of Hoppers will be eligible to win by just answering all 4 of our Easter trivia questions along the hop route! Four of our DT ladies have been chosen to be our “secret bunnies” that will be giving away the Easter set along the hop and will be posting their trivia question with their blog hop post and all you have to do to enter to win the Easter digi set is to answer all 4 questions correctly, so good luck and have fun and don’t forget to comment on all of our blog hop posts!
Here’s the blog hop order:
EMAIL ME with the answer to my trivia question:
” Who co-starred with Judy Garland in the movie Easter Parade?”
Now let’s get inspired! I created a couple of cards with Michelle’s newest images. I used Spring colors with some fun Easter ribbon that I picked up just for this occasion! I hope you like them.

Have you ever had those white chocolate candy cane Hershey’s Kisses?
OMG, they are FABULOUS!!
I tried to capture the beauty of them with this digital stamp from Michelle Perkett Studio. Colored with atyouSpica glitter gel pens, they do at least have some sparkle. 🙂
