Today was one of those days that Prickley Pear was perfect for my projects!
This card was fun to create since I combined heat embossing with dry embossing. The orange panel is vellum dry embossed then colored with Copics on the back for a stained glass effect. The stamped image is by Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps and heat embossed using 2 different colors of embossing powder. The image is stamped once then sprinkled with one color in one area first, then the 2nd color is added after shaking off any excess of the first powder. A fun effect especially when an image is perfect for it like this one.

I couldn’t resist. I had to do another card for Michelle Perkett Studio’s challenge this week. Don’t forget, you have until Monday to enter and possibly win some digistamps! She also has a 35% off sale this weekend just in case you can’t wait to see if you won or not!
This card is colored totally with AtyouSpica markers, so she is completely blinged out! Ok, well her face, arms and legs aren’t but everything else is! She sure sparkles in the light! Hope you like her.
Do you like digital stamps? If you haven’t tried them yet, you should! They are a lot of fun! I’ve recently joined Michelle Perkett’s Digital Stamp team, so you’ll see a lot of her images here on my blog.
Every Tuesday there will be a new challenge introduced on Michelle Perkett Studios Challenge Blog! Make sure to check out the blog for more ideas on meeting this week’s challenge!
There will be a prize involved!
This week is challenge 46 —-> to use tags in some way on a project using one of Michelle’s images.
Here’s a card that I made with the sentiment on a tag:
This one is rather simple, but very elegant with the black and white main color scheme and touch of pink. The stamped images are heat embossed with E P Max, an embossing powder with lots of gorgeous glitter in it from P K Glitz. You can’t beat the sparkle as the sun really picks it up when taking a photo.
You’ll be seeing lots more TSOL this month and through the rest of the year! Stephanie’s images are so versatile and easy to use that you can go back to them to meet any card making or scrapbooking need.
