Scraps of thoughts, photos and art

card

Here’s an Ippity Stamps only card. It’s a simple one using this week’s Card Positioning Systems Sketch and Play Date Cafe’s colors.

I heat embossing the chandelier in clear, inked with the metallic ink then rubbed the ink off of the embossed image. Voila!

Another beautiful digital stamp from Michelle Perkett Studio! I used the glittered acetate technique with 3 different colors for their skirts, can you tell?

This is just a friendly reminder also, to play along in this week’s Blog Challenge: go GREEN! You have until Monday afternoon to upload and link your creation to go into the drawing.

Really Reasonable Ribbon Challenge #19

SFYTTMAR2011 sketch at I love sketches

I purchased and won (yea!) some clear stamp sets from The Cat’s Pajamas. I used a set in one of the cards for the Virtual Stamp Night on Splitcoaststampers recently and am using another one to meet a couple challenges this week.

I paper pieced the little girl in this set using BasicGrey’s Two Scoops Collection, an oldie but goodie. The colors are so yummy! I also used one of my new Spellbinders fancy label dies that I just love. So fun and a great result! I hope you’ll think so too.
