I love making cards!
It’s Virtual Stamp Night this weekend on Splitcoast Stampers, so I thought that I would indulge myself in some stamping just for the fun of it.
So, VSN has various challenges under this month’s theme of You Make My Heart Sing. The hostesses are extremely creative with their challenges all relating back to the main theme. Great job ladies!
Here is another card with many more to come:
Stampin’ Up! , Valentine Defined rubber stamp set & Pinking Hearts border punch
Ranger embossing ink
P K Glitz embossing powder
Sizzix embossing plate
Brads and ribbon

Here’s a new one using the techniques from Shimelle and her class, Love Your Pictures, Love Your Pages. It’s not too late to join!
I actually used this layout in the Friends with Flair Hop this past Friday. I used both Ippity & Unity Stamps! A bunch of the supplies are ones that I’ve had for awhile too, so I was proud of myself to boot. 🙂

So, I’m not “too” far behind with my Project 12 layouts (see the sidebar button for Project 12) having only March to go after this. What I have realized is that I need to take more pictures!
This layout was super fun to put together. I used all my fav products – BasicGrey, glitter and stamping. The BasicGrey paper is from the “Blush” collection, remember that one? An oldie but goodie with the great tones of red/pink, brown and turquoise. How yummy!
I used a new Sizzix die that I got on clearance at Michael’s for like $3.99 or something silly! Its’ the heart beauty in mint glitter. All of the heart stamps are from various Ippity sets, just so pretty! Gotta love that Becky Fleck sketch too.

It seems that I’ve been pretty active using Ippity Stamps. Probably because I’m selling them now! If you’re interested in any of the stamps or sets you see from Ippity, drop me a comment or email and I’ll be happy to chat with you about them. They are super cute and very useful stamp designs. It’s a bonus that they are easy to use also due to the cling mount!

So, Stephanie at The Stamps of Life is giving everyone a motivation to use her stamps – a contest! Nothing like the chance to win something free to inspire one’s creativity!
Ok, well that’s not the only thing to inspire. How about a great sketch from Mojo Monday? Yes indeed, coupling those 2 with Prism Paper, what a great combo! The result is below. A cute Christmas card that’s quick and easy with some simple cuts and punches. Imagine the scraps you could use up!?…

I was lucky on 2 occasions recently – one was to go to Kentucky for a long weekend before all the leaves dropped and two, was able to work with the 3 Bugs Autumn line!
Kentucky was beautiful and a little cooler than I was expecting :). The colors of autumn really made up for it though. I just love the oranges, browns and yellows of the season. Not enough to move into a part of the country that has that though!
The Autumn line is really fun! It has all the great colors you expect for Fall plus patterns that match. I love that on many of the papers, the back is solid colored. Also, I like being able to distress it myself if I want. The addition of a cool grayish blue was a nice touch.
