I’m a little behind, but catching up with Project 12. The month of May was filled with birthdays and a little fun travel to Orlando to work at a craft expo. Thanks to Becky Fleck for another great sketch this month!

See? I told you that I was catching up!

April was almost a picture-free month except for the crafty projects that I was doing. Between traveling for work and limited daylight and weekend times, I didn’t really get out much to take pictures. Oh well, it happens right?

For this month’s summary, I put together pictures of my favorite projects from the month plus one doozy dessert picture from a restaurant that I went to in Waterloo. Total yumminess!

I love the Martha Stewart Hydrangea border punch that I used here. The glitter also matches perfectly and adds just the right zing.

I’ve been catching up with Project 12, woohoo! I’ve shown you January and February so far.

Here’s March!

I used some super cool new ribbon trim from Webster’s Pages. It is rolled up tulle to create roses then it’s attached to a larger piece of tulle to hold it all together. So pretty and dimensional! I did a bunch of sewing on it – too cool.

Wow, can’t believe that I haven’t posted for 3 weeks! As you can imagine, I’ve been busy with work and not too much time for crafting.

BUT, I have been crafting here and there and have stuff to share! I have scrapbook pages – can you believe that I did 3 pages this weekend???! I have cards and an ATC.

To start, here’s a single scrapbook page that I’ve been trying to do for a year and a half now!! “What is the problem” is what you’re probably asking yourself. Well just me! I’ve had this paper from Scenic Route for almost that amount of time, so that part was worked out.

Here it is —-> I needed the right sketch! Thanks to Becky Fleck and her blog, I FINALLY got the right layout. I used a bargain border punch that I found stashed in the Michael’s clearance bin for $5 I think it was – just knew there would be a perfect page for it and I was RIGHT! Love it when that happens! ;)

So, here’s the single page that took me almost 2 years to get it together. Click on the picture for a zoom in.

So, I’m not “too” far behind with my Project 12 layouts (see the sidebar button for Project 12) having only March to go after this. What I have realized is that I need to take more pictures!

This layout was super fun to put together. I used all my fav products – BasicGrey, glitter and stamping. The BasicGrey paper is from the “Blush” collection, remember that one? An oldie but goodie with the great tones of red/pink, brown and turquoise. How yummy!

I used a new Sizzix die that I got on clearance at Michael’s for like $3.99 or something silly! Its’ the heart beauty in mint glitter. All of the heart stamps are from various Ippity sets, just so pretty! Gotta love that Becky Fleck sketch too.
