I had the opportunity to attend a U2 concert about a year and a half ago. The company I work for gave me 2 free tickets, so I couldn’t refuse them! It was on a Friday before a holiday weekend, perfect for an outdoors concert. We drove about 4 hrs to get to the stadium. WELL worth it!! Muse opened the concert and played about 45 minutes. They were great! U2 came on after a short intermission and really rocked the house! They played a long set list of new and old music. What a show!!

Getting closer, but still over a month away! Yes, Easter is later this year than it normally is, so here is a layout to showcase a super cute digital stamp from The Stamping Boutique.
If you’ve noticed a couple extra blinkies showing up in the right side bar, it’s because I’m LUCKY to be a Guest Designer for The Stamping Boutique this month!!! Thank you to Tracey for having me and offering such great digital stamps to show off!
The Stamping Boutique is having a bi-weekly challenge with the first kicking off last week. You still have time to enter as the challenge closes on Sunday, so get to it!
The challenge: use Texture, Sparkle and Buttons!
Supplies:
The Stamping Boutique digital stamp
Copic markers
Punches
My Mind’s Eye paper
Becky Fleck sketch
Spellbinders dies
The Texture on the page is the embossed paper, punched flowers and buttons. The Sparkle is also the paper as it’s coated all over with shimmer! The Buttons are the centers of the flowers. Thanks for stopping by today!
January was a slow month for taking pictures, so I opted to show some of my favorite projects that I worked on. I found more of those super cute mini mailboxes and altered them, plus I made a bunch of cards for various occasions.
I decided to use BasicGrey again this year to complete my Project 12 layouts. I sure have enough of it and why not use it up? There are many collections that were released last year that I have yet to purchase, but I am itching to buy them! Maybe a little at a time at some of the Scrapbook Expos throughout the year.
Supplies:
BasicGrey Urban Prairie paper and stickers
Border punches
Becky Fleck sketch for Project 12
Wow, a complete year of summary pages! How AWESOME is that???? Thanks to Project 12 at Scrapbook and Cards Today Magazine and Becky Fleck!
I used BasicGrey for the 2-page layout each month, yippee to dwindle the stash. Now if I could only do another 500 pages or so, I might really make a dent!
Without further delay, here’s the layout for December:
TOO FUN
and
I’ll do it again in 2011! I’ll work to stay caught up this year.
See? I told you that I was catching up!
April was almost a picture-free month except for the crafty projects that I was doing. Between traveling for work and limited daylight and weekend times, I didn’t really get out much to take pictures. Oh well, it happens right?
For this month’s summary, I put together pictures of my favorite projects from the month plus one doozy dessert picture from a restaurant that I went to in Waterloo. Total yumminess!
I love the Martha Stewart Hydrangea border punch that I used here. The glitter also matches perfectly and adds just the right zing.
Supplies:
BasicGrey patterned paper, cardstock stickers and brads
Prima bling
Border punch
P K Glitz Sticky Tape and glitter

I’ve been catching up with Project 12, woohoo! I’ve shown you January and February so far.
Here’s March!
I used some super cool new ribbon trim from Webster’s Pages. It is rolled up tulle to create roses then it’s attached to a larger piece of tulle to hold it all together. So pretty and dimensional! I did a bunch of sewing on it – too cool.
