Don’t you just love cupcakes? They are just enough to clench that desire for cake but not too much to feel like you’ve over indulged. Flavors? TONS! Both in the cake portion and frosting portion! Cupcakes are BIG business!
I’ve got a paper pieced cupcake for you today using The Stamps of Life set HappyBday2You. The cupcake is a great size and the sentiment is able to be split up so that you can stack it instead of having it in a single line. I swear that Stephanie at TSOL puts a lot of thought into these sets!! I LOVE IT!

Here’s just another friendly reminder that there’s still a day and 1/2 to put in a project for Michelle’s blog challenge.

Don’t forget that there’s a weekly challenge at Michelle Perkett Studio’s Blog!
Sound easy? It is!!
You still have 2 days to meet the challenge which closes Monday afternoon.
Here’s something to help with the inspiration, it’s Michelle’s Earth digital stamp colored with Copics. I used a new trim punch to make the gorgeous fall leaves. The border was punched from P K Glitz WonderFilm and glitzed with shades of glitter that I used in the colored image. LOVE that sparkle!

Looking for a simple yet fun idea for the holidays? Try handmade ornaments!
I’ve used a clear plastic ornament shape here as the base for my ornament.
Print out a digital stamp or stamp a rubber stamp with StazOn ink on a piece of acetate.
Color with Copic markers or Sharpies.
Cut out a circular piece of WonderFilm from P K Glitz to place on the front of the ornament.
Cut out your image to be smaller than the ornament and place on top of the WonderFilm to stick it down.
Sprinkle glitter around the outside and you’ve got a great border!
Tie a ribbon at the top and it’s done!

from The Stamping Boutique! She’s a digital stamp Matroyshka doll! The lace that I got at the top is from the Scrapbook Expo that I just attended a couple weeks ago. Love that stuff!

The challenge this week at Whimsie Doodles was to make an “off color” card – so not red and green for Christmas, orange and black for Halloween, etc.
Ok, so how about pink and brown for Halloween? Not a bad combination once I got started! A bit retro-ish, this card turned out pretty cute! Now who would appreciate a pink and brown Halloween card? My friend Pam in NH no doubt so I’ll pop it in the mail to her tomorrow to see if it can get there by Saturday. 🙂 Be on the look out Pam!
