Yes, the holidays are coming! Starving Artistamps has released a wonderful Nativity image and sentiment set. I’ll be sharing some creations with you from those sets.
The images are really great! Lots of options for coloring or leaving as is. Lots of options for grouping the images together to make a scene or using independently. Lots of options to include the sayings with the images or just alone. All in all, this is one of the most versatile holiday Nativity sets I’ve ever used!!
Take a look at the first creation. The words are all on 1 stamp. There are actually 3 images in the manger scene, cool eh?
Marco’s Paper and BasicGrey Eskimo Kisses
Starving Artistamps Nativity stamps
Ranger embossing ink
PK Glitz embossing powder
Ribbon, corner punch & border punch
Just something about it…so pretty, so flashy, so just h a p p y ! !
I admit, I must have an addiction to glitter and embossing powder. I have a hard time not using one or the other on my projects. Sigh…I think it’s pretty painless though isn’t it??
Just a little money —— a little glitter or a little embossing powder goes a LONG way, so it can’t be that bad can it????
is the answer. 🙂 It makes me happy to say that out loud, whew!
Here’s a card compiled from a couple kit elements PLUS a super sparkly punched sun. Go to the PK Glitz blog today to see how to make your own punched elements shimmer.
Marco’s Paper cardstock
BoBunny patterned paper, ribbon, stamps and chipboard
PK Glitz Sticky Paper and glitter
I found this yummy cookie recipe on the Land O’ Lakes site and I just HAD to put it down to save! I think you’ll agree once you read the ingredients!
Cosmo Cricket patterned paper
Hampton Arts stamps
Dottie Ann Magic Mesh
Flower & eyelet
I haven’t really made many Inchies before, so I thought I would try them for a Christmas Inchies swap on Rubber Stamp Chat (RSC).
What are Inchies? They are 1″ x 1″ little pieces of artwork that can be used alone on a project or together to create a larger image.
Mine are rather simple, offering the user to be as create as they want to be when using them.
The first set is totally Christmas oriented using red and green paper as the background. The second set is more seasonal using tones of blue.
Whispers & Stampendous embossing powder
Stampin’ Up! stamps on the top set and Hero Arts on the bottom set
Signo white pen
New from Starving Artistamps! Lots of options here for leaving as is, being sparse with the Flower Soft or full on! I’ll definitely be doing more experimenting with these stamps. Can you see the possibilities to make them change with the seasons or holidays? FUN!
