I was inspired by the recent sketch at Clean & Simple Stamping’s blog #225 and the Shopping Our Stash challenge #86 to use our oldest ribbon for this card using Tweety Jill’s collage papers and stamps.
The 3 Valentine’s ribbons are AT LEAST 3 years old, maybe older! I got them at Michael’s on clearance one year and have not used them up yet. Fun challenge at SOS!
I’ve started working on some Valentine’s projects using Tweety Jill‘s collage papers and stamps. Her stamps are such a great collection of vintage images that you can really have some fun with them. Here is just the start of a slew of Valentine’s projects – cards, ATC’s and tags!
Remember the Halloween ATCs that I did using Tweety Jill‘s collage papers and stamps? I worked with her Christmas items this time and had A LOT of fun! Let me show you what I did so that you can be inspired to do one too!
I used a lot of different punches and dies to make the accents on the ATC’s and the 7gypsies tray. I used washi tape to line the walls of each compartment and Claudine Hellmuth’s matte medium to hold down the paper against the back of the tray and over the washi tape for holding power. The 3D pinecones are actually brown paper flowers that I dipped in the matte medium and glitter. I LOVE the way it turned out!
I’ve been working with Tweety Jill‘s Halloween products – Vintage Halloween Collage Pack, Vintage Halloween Paper Pack, Halloween ATCs Paper Pack, Design Elements Rubber Stamps, Trick or Treat Rubber Stamps and Vintage Halloween Rubber Stamps. You can purchase them from Tweety Jill herself or Marco’s Paper.
This project also fit the Simon Says Stamp EERIE Inspiration Challenge!
Jill has videos on her blog and classes in the Tampa area, so check them out for fun in person with Jill!
