There’s just something about a beautiful sunrise to start the day isn’t there? I was on my way out of town on an early flight and saw this beautiful sunrise from the airport. Just breathtaking!

I’m catching up on some older pictures to scrapbook, so here’s one from 2009.

This week’s Whimsie Doodles challenge was Box Office inspiration, so I thought of Disney’s Chicken Little with Easter coming. The cute little chicks from one of Whimsie’s newer releases just seemed to be the right fit for this page and challenge! I flocked the chicks, so they’re nice and soft. :)

Products You Love online class at Two Peas

Two Peas has 4 great no-charge classes running the entire year. This layout was created for one of them with Nichol Magouirk called Scrapbook Stamping. Every month a different challenge is issued to use stamps on your layout somehow.

Here’s my version of this month’s assignment, using woodblock stamps. I do admit that I also used some clear stamps, but the majority are wood block stamps. The candle border and title are Hero Arts wood block. The cake is from The Stamps of Life and the journaling box is Autumn Leaves.

I was able to visit the back woods of Kentucky a couple of years ago when I was working with P K Glitz. Janelle and Jim, co-owners, have a beautiful old B&B right by the rail tracks. It was a really fun visit with a great chance to feel cool weather and see the leaves change.

This layout is for Shimelle’s 4×6 Photo class at 2Peas. I was SO excited to use some super old supplies that were just too good to throw out! It felt great to use up some stash!

I’m so proud of myself for staying mostly up-to-date this year! I know it’s only March, but little steps count towards achieving the main goal right?

I am using BasicGrey to document my Project 12 this year. Last year’s layouts looked SO great, that I didn’t want to muck up a good thing!

Those of you who aren’t familiar with Project 12, it’s a monthly 2-page layout summarizing with pictures what happened last month. The sketches are compliments of Becky Fleck and the concept is with Scrapbook & Cards Today magazine. Prizes are given every month too!

Whether you believe it or not, Spring is coming! We set our clocks ahead this past weekend so we’ll be having daylight much later than we used to. Granted, we’ll be driving to work in the dark, but at least we’ll have sunshine when we leave work.

Here’s another digital stamp from The Stamping Boutique called Audrey in the rain. I used the glittered acetate technique that were on a couple cards of late. Hope you like it!

Check out the new challenge posted on the TSB Blog!

Getting closer, but still over a month away! Yes, Easter is later this year than it normally is, so here is a layout to showcase a super cute digital stamp from The Stamping Boutique.

If you’ve noticed a couple extra blinkies showing up in the right side bar, it’s because I’m LUCKY to be a Guest Designer for The Stamping Boutique this month!!! Thank you to Tracey for having me and offering such great digital stamps to show off!

The Stamping Boutique is having a bi-weekly challenge with the first kicking off last week. You still have time to enter as the challenge closes on Sunday, so get to it!

The challenge: use Texture, Sparkle and Buttons!

The Texture on the page is the embossed paper, punched flowers and buttons. The Sparkle is also the paper as it’s coated all over with shimmer! The Buttons are the centers of the flowers. Thanks for stopping by today!

January was a slow month for taking pictures, so I opted to show some of my favorite projects that I worked on. I found more of those super cute mini mailboxes and altered them, plus I made a bunch of cards for various occasions.

I decided to use BasicGrey again this year to complete my Project 12 layouts. I sure have enough of it and why not use it up? There are many collections that were released last year that I have yet to purchase, but I am itching to buy them! Maybe a little at a time at some of the Scrapbook Expos throughout the year.
