I just love this layout! Chris and I always have fun when we’re together. We go to the beach, we watch the sunrise, we eat, we laugh…that’s what friends are for right?

There’s this cool challenge going on Scrapbook and Cards Today magazine called Project 12. It breaks down the memory collecting into a 2-page spread of the month’s events. I like the concept and am working with it – so good so far!

Becky Fleck is doing the sketches for each month and you can either use that sketch each month or use 1 sketch over and over or even use no sketch. I enjoy working with Becky Fleck’s sketches, so I figured “why not”?

There will most definitely be scrapbook pages devoted to a specific something that went on during the month. Project 12 is just to serve as a snapshot of “here’s what happened this month”. My goal is to use BasicGrey for each Project 12 spread and to use Becky’s sketches.

So, without further ado, here’s January 2010:

Project 12, January

I have actually done a couple scrapbook pages lately! Unbelieveable I know, but hey, new years resolutions are a good thing sometimes. :)

Some of the pages I can’t share yet, but this one I can. It’s using some of the My Mind’s Eye stash that I have (as bad as my BasicGrey stash) and some of my Ippity stamps.

Supplies:

I’ve been at it again, finding cool recipes to capture and save. When can I try them all???? :)

I’m doing some cleaning by using up paper I’ve had for close to a year at least as the base for this 6×6 recipe page. I did NEED to couple it with something new – the stamps from Stamps of Life! Too cute for words, this month’s Love2Hug set fits this recipe card perfectly! Thanks Steph!
