The bunny that I chose is too funny! He’s part of the DoodleFactory sets at Starving Artistamps. I flocked him and used my new grass border punch for the fun stuff at his feet. You can’t help but smile when you see him right?

We haven’t met as a Club for 2-3 months, so we had a little catching up to do. November’s theme was “Wonders of the World”, December was “Freestyle” and January was “Planes, Trains & Automobiles”.

For the November theme, I chose the Pyramids since I found a PERFECT stamp in my stash! The Pyramids are from My Paper Moon and the depth background is from Lost Coast Designs. The small frame on the very outer edges is from Starving Artistamps. Lots of layers in this ATC!

The “freestyle” ATCs were actually all different with the theme of Under the Sea. I used twinchies that I had swapped with the ladies on Rubber Stamp Chat and added a cool Distress Ink background to make it more interesting.

The last ATC to share today is the “Planes, Trains and Automobiles” one. I used Stampers Anonymous stamps and layered them once again. It came out pretty cool.

Our August theme was Victorian and our September was Bling. Since there is only 2 1/2″ x 3 1/2″ to work on, small stamps and images work best. It is the ultimate to use up those small scraps and embellishments that hang around your work space! I can’t tell you how long I’ve had the self-adhesive hand-dyed silk that served as the backdrop for the chandelier – TOO LONG! I had just enough to make 5 ATCs!

Anyway, take a peek and be inspired by these small marvels!

I haven’t used them yet, hahahaha, gotcha! I used some stamps from Starving Artistamps and Faerie Song Stamps to create my Mardi Gras beauty. I double embossed the background with the gem bezels and harlequin. I stamped and embossed the gems first then stamped and embossed over them with the harlequin pattern in a different color. Neat effect isn’t it?

ATC’s are 3 1/2″ x 2 1/2″ pieces of art. Try them sometime, they’re addicting!!

BUT, I did successfully complete them! I like one of them a lot and the other, so-s0. Oh well, that’s how it goes right?

We decided on the rest of our themes for the year – love that! Now I can do them as I have time or supplies. We meet in April next, so I’ll have a couple months to work on 2 batches. Should be able to do that!

November was an Autumn theme. I just had to use some mini Morsels stamps that I’ve had for quite some time. There is probably 35 or so mini stamps that are all in the Autumn theme in the set. They are similar to the Rubber Stamp Tapestry sets, but these were from Sugarloaf Stamps which became Inque Boutique which was bought by Darice. Unfortunately they’ve decided to not continue the brand. At least I have the stamps!

I already posted my December “open theme” ATC – Snowflakes – if you’d like to see it again.

The January theme was “Games or Toys”. I chose the games theme since I had some stamps to fit the bill (imagine that!). It seemed that I was sticking with the orange tones as above. Something about the game Bingo makes me think of orange. Don’t know why…
