The Holiday Card Workshop is on at Online Card Classes! I’m glad that I could join this year and I’m looking forward to increasing my Holiday card stash significantly as I work up to the mailing and handing out stage!
Here are some cards from Day 1. Jennifer gave some great mass production tips. Now if I could only get my Stampin’ Up! clear stamps to stick to the block! Does anyone have that problem?
One of my newest favs is pinning on Pinterest! If you’d like to follow me, I’m “andreasscraps” there. My boards are still relatively new, but growing fast!

One of my favs in the digi stamp world is Michelle Perkett. Her designs are so beautiful and totally awesome to color!!
She’s having a 50% off sale that may entice you to try some of her stamps. Pay in full then she’ll refund you back 50%. How cool is that? The sale is on through Thursday, August 23rd 5 PST.

Sorry about that! Life happens and then we move on.
Tim Holtz has started a year long monthly tag inspiration and has retired his 12 days of December tag ideas. I think it’s a good thing and I’m looking forward to it. He’ll catch up in March for January, so February’s came out first. What a great tag full of inspiration!
Here are 3 different versions created by me, Cindy and Barb in one night. Can you believe it…just one night! We were pretty impressed with ourselves since we were very pleased with the way they came out.
We used a bunch of different things – Tim Holtz dies, Really Reasonable Ribbon, Distress Inks, Glimmer Mist, and other cool things. Can’t wait for March’s tags! Thanks Tim!
It’s been forever since I blogged! Life happens as they say and it certainly has for me. It’s been quite some time since I scrapped too. I’ve done a few cards here and there, but nothing substantial unfortunately. That’s my goal – get back into it whenever I have some free time. That’s the trick isn’t it…free time? Well, I’ve decided to do Shimelle’s Learn Something New Everyday online class on the blog, so let’s see how that goes! Technically it was a class that went through September, but since that was a hugely crazy month for me, I’m doing it this month. The thing that I completely love about Shimelle’s classes is that once you buy them, you have lifetime access to them on her website! Many of them repeat every year, so your access includes all future years classes too. Thanks Shimelle, that’s so super cool!
For this class, what I write about today, happened yesterday in most cases. I’ll include pictures when possible, factoids or just something I remembered as making me smile.
The Toronto’s CN Tower’s Glass Floor was the world’s first when it opened on June 26, 1994. It is 256 square feet of solid glass and is five times stronger than the required weight bearing standard for commercial floors.
