Scraps of thoughts, photos and art

I recently had a great time reviewing this collection at ScrapFriends. I found it was very versatile with it’s wonderful colors and patterns. Very easy to use and create practically anything – layout, card, altered item. For the layout, I used Stampers Anonymous Stamps as additional background filler. The Wild Woodland rub-ons worked wonderfully over the Heidi Swapp chipboard hearts! I trimmed the long swirl from the Tabs & Tags sheet and added a photo turn to create the large “F”. A white pen came in handy for doodling on the birds and flowers. A Glitz Roller Doodle is responsible for the swirlies on the sides of the photos, cute! Stickles were the final touch over the letters for that added bling!

The card almost made itself! The patterned paper was ideal for the square card and a little added embellishment was all it needed. A rub-on from the Blur line plus stickers from Wild Woodland and a random ribbon – perfect!

Now this was a fun project! I’ve had a box of tissues on my desk forever and thought that it would be a great touch to create a custom cover just like I had in the bathroom! So, the panels were cut from one piece of Wild Woodland, adhered to chipboard then assembled together with 7gypsies Gaffer Tape. The top was a different piece of Wild Woodland then the whole thing was inked with Tsukineko’s All-Purpose Vegas Gold ink – love that stuff! I trimmed out some of the larger flowers from yet another piece of Wild Woodland and added one to each side for a 3-d effect. Now my tissue boxes will have this lovely cover whenever residing on my desk!
