Highly anticipated because we would be working with Prima’s Paintable Transparencies, acetate covers and Zutter’s Bind-It-All, Words & Windows was super fun and a great way to start Sunday off. Did you know that you could paint with alcohol inks? Part of the class included custom paint palettes of dried alcohol inks that could be used with a water brush filled with Blending Solution for painting – quite remarkable and oh so fun! This project is my most incomplete one since it needs some love by adding pictures and alpha rub-ons. The front cover will say “love” and the internal pages will say “me”, “you”, “two” and “friends”. I especially loved the jazz music Tim put on while everyone was painting, awesome touch and made me feel right at home with Sunday Morning Jazz Brunch from Watercolors on XM channel 71.
