If you’re a follower of my blog, you probably remember seeing 6×6 recipe pages here and there throughout the year. Well, one of my fav things to do is to create these small gems (similar is my love of ATC’s) using scraps and stamps. I trade them online with a Yahoo group of fellow recipe swappers.

Each month, different themes are presented to the group and you can sign up for as many as you want (only 3 or so are offered usually) or none depending on the themes and your schedule of course. I usually make 8 pages (2-12×12 pieces of cardstock = 8 pages, why waste 1/2 sheet right?). Six are sent to the coordinator, I keep one and have a spare to trade elsewhere or giveaway. In a short span of time, a great little 6×6 album gets full of these babies! They make great shower, family or co-worker gifts!

This month, I opted to play twice with an October recipe and “Tuesday is…” recipe. The October one just needed to have October written on it somewhere like the title, in the patterned paper or stamped on. No problem, I have lots of month stamps!

October Recipe

Supplies:
SEI patterned paper & SU! cardstock
BoBunny stamp
Tsukineko Memento ink
PK Glitz glitter, Sticky Tape & Wonder Film
Staples paper clip

Now the next page needed to fulfill the “Tuesday Is…” requirement. I totally made up that Tuesday is Casserole Night in our house, but hey, it could be this week right?? The object was to plug in an appropriate item like Chicken Night, Chili Night, Crock Pot Night, Hamburger Night, … I thought mine would work just fine and I would actually do it sometime soon. :) So anyway, here’s the result of the mini page.

Tuesday Is...

Supplies:
SEI paper
Hampton Arts stamp
Tsukineko Memento ink
SU! hemp
Spellbinders die
Fiskars border punch

So there you have it! OHHHHHHHHH, something really FUN?!! Cherry Blossom Studio is starting up a Recipe Page CLUB! How fun will that be?! Stay tuned for the details and come and join us! I know I’ll be there!
