Otherwise known as Artist Trading Cards. These little 2 1/2″ x 3 1/2″ babies are a miniature piece of art in the making. Terrific for trying new techniques, using up scraps of anything or simply creating to a theme, ATC’s really get addicting! ATC’s are meant to be traded not sold.

Recently I joined the Oasis ATC Club that meets every other month at Scrapbook Central and I have been wowed at their talent. I’m so tickled to be part of their group! Thanks to Rosanne and the ladies in the group for having me! Every month we have a particular theme to follow when making our cards with usually any technique goes as long as the theme is followed. This month’s theme was ‘sunrise/sunset’, one that I love because those are my favorite times of the day. How could I do it justice? I decided to use 2 of my favorite mediums, paint and glitter, to create a somewhat Impressionistic ATC. Ranger’s Paint Dabbers are my paint of choice and PK Glitz has some incredible glitter as you can see in the sample below. Enjoy your sunset tonight and sunrise tomorrow!
